Infrastructure - Roads

We hate the traffic in our community. It cuts into our free time, our family life, and our overall sanity. This will be a priority of mine while working for you as your State Representative.

Hi, my name is Leigh Hulsey and I am running for State House to represent you and your family. I have proven myself over the years to be someone who gets the right things done for the people I serve and represent. Being a small business owner for nine years in Alabaster and a three-term City Councilmember has allowed me to learn how things get done in this community and the experience to make it happen.

Hi, I'm Leigh Hulsey

I have proven myself over the years to be someone who gets the right things done for the people I serve and represent.

I bring trusted experience to this position to hit the ground running. This seat will be joining the State House mid-term. We need someone who has a proven track record and the relationships to advocate for our needs and make a difference right away.

VOTE

My name is Leigh Hulsey, and I am asking for your VOTE on March 30th.

We currently have three projects within the community that are approved, two of which do not have funding.

Now the process of getting road upgrades is unique.

First, there are studies, then more studies. There is a lot of feedback and input from various agencies. Engineering gets involved, then budgeting, and more. THEN approval. Once it is approved, it does not mean it will happen right away. Our communities' needs are prioritized with other needs in the state.

This is where I will be a fierce advocate for our community. I will work tirelessly to ensure our community gets the infrastructure we need and our fair share of funding.

Highway 261 and Highway 52 have been approved but not funded. I will work directly with county and state agencies to see that these projects stay at the forefront of the project list to be funded and completed. The first phase of Highway 119 has been approved and funded, but phase two will need approval and funding. I will focus on this right away when I arrive in Montgomery.

Our community is fantastic. We have so much to be thankful for. There are areas of improvement to be addressed so we can continue to have a great place to live, work, and play. You work hard for your family, and I want to work hard for you. My name is Leigh Hulsey, and I am asking for your VOTE on March 30th.
